Front pads & rotors
Pulsing pedal and a grinding noise on the 400. New rotors, ceramic pads, calipers cleaned and greased. Back on the road the same afternoon.

Check-engine light
Misfire on cylinder 3. Scanned live, traced it to a coil pack and a fouled plug. Replaced both, cleared the code, no return visit.

Battery, no crank
Dead in a condo garage on a −18° morning. Tested the alternator first to be sure, then swapped the battery on site. Twenty minutes.

Winter tire swap
Four wheels swapped in the driveway, torqued to spec, pressures set. Stored the summers in the garage for the customer.

Pre-purchase inspection
Met the seller in a plaza lot. Compression, brakes, suspension, rust, codes. Walked away from the car — saved the buyer $14,000.

Oil & filter, at home
Full synthetic, filter, fluids topped, tire pressures checked, and a look underneath while it drained. Done before the school run.
What I fix
Everything below is done on site with a fully stocked van. If a job genuinely needs a lift — a transmission out, an alignment, a frame pull — I'll tell you straight and point you to a shop I trust in Woodbridge rather than pretend otherwise.
Batteries & charging
Testing, replacement and terminal cleanup. I check the alternator and the parasitic draw before I sell you a battery — a lot of "dead batteries" are actually something draining them overnight.
Diagnostics
Check-engine lights, ABS lights, airbag lights, rough idle, misfires, stalling, no-starts. Full scan tool with live data and freeze-frame, not just a code reader that tells you to "replace part."
Starters & alternators
Click-no-crank, slow crank, dash lights dimming at idle. Both are driveway-reachable on most makes and I carry common fitments in the van.
Oil, filters & fluids
Full synthetic oil and filter, cabin and engine air filters, coolant, power steering, transmission fluid checks. I take the old oil away with me — nothing left on your driveway.
Tires & wheels
Seasonal swaps, rotations, flat repairs, TPMS resets and pressure checks. Torqued to spec with a real torque wrench, not a rattle gun and a guess.
Suspension & steering
Shocks, struts, control arms, sway bar links, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. The clunks and rattles over Vaughan's potholes usually have a name and a price.
Belts, hoses & cooling
Serpentine belts, tensioners, radiator hoses, thermostats, coolant leaks and overheating. A $90 belt beats a $2,400 head gasket every time.
Pre-purchase inspections
Buying used? I'll meet you and the seller anywhere in the GTA, go over the car properly, and give you a written list of what's wrong and what it'll cost. Best money you'll spend on a used car.
Roadside & no-start calls
Car won't start at the GO lot, the mall, or the shoulder of the 407? Call me before you call a tow. A lot of no-starts are fixed on the spot for less than the tow would have cost.
Not listed? Ask anyway. If it's a job one person can do in a driveway with hand tools and a van full of parts, it's probably a yes.

Call or text
Tell me the year, make, model and what it's doing. A photo or a short video of the noise helps more than a paragraph. If I can't fix it, I'll say so on the phone instead of wasting your morning.

Get a real number
You get a price for the job and the parts before I drive out — not a "we'll see when we get there." If it turns out to be something else once I'm under the car, I stop and call you before spending a dollar.

I come to you
Home, work, condo garage, plaza lot, or the shoulder of the road. You don't need to be there for most jobs — plenty of customers leave the keys with a neighbour or a concierge and get the invoice by text.

Pay when it runs
Card, e-transfer or cash once the job's done and you've seen it work. Old parts stay with you unless you'd rather I take them. No shop fees, no environmental charges, no upsell.

Open seven days. Roadside and no-start calls get priority — if the car is blocking something, say so on the phone and I'll move you up the list.

That's the home base, not a shop you drive to — the whole point is that I come to you. Most work happens within about 25 km of here.
Regular coverage: Woodbridge, Vaughan, Maple, Concord, Kleinburg, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, North York, Brampton, Mississauga, King City, Nobleton.
Farther out? Call and ask. Anything along the 400, 407 or 401 corridors is usually doable with a small travel charge quoted up front.
Finding the driveway: Major MacKenzie between Weston Rd and Highway 27, north side, second driveway past the mailbox cluster. Look for the white van with the ladder rack.
